Artur Mariano made 11 world champions for Champions Factory, as coach of the Brazilian Muay Thai team, he made more than 30 world champions.
Founder of the Artur Mariano Institute (2009), a social project in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro that transformed lives through Muay Thai and the NLP methodology – training state, national, Pan-American and even world champions, as well as new professionals (teachers, lawyers, physiotherapists).
Founder of the Champions Factory gym chain in 2001, he built a strong network of gyms in Brazil and abroad with thousands of students.

Artur Mariano and Wanderlei Silva (UFC Hall of Famer) starred in the most violent fight in history in the 1990s, considered a world classic of Vale Tudo. This fight spawned a documentary on HBO International titled "The Great Fight."
Artur Mariano has masterfully led the Brazilian teams for almost two decades to the Pan American and World Championships in Thailand.
Artur Mariano participates in training elite military teams from the Governor's Guard, BOPE, Special Prison Police, among other forces.
Over the course of four decades, Artur Mariano has established himself as a reference in Muay Thai and martial arts.
Artur Mariano has made history in his more than 35 years in martial arts, having traveled a long road of achievements and learning.
He began his career in the 1980s, and his first martial arts class was in 1992. From then until today, he has gone from small spaces to large academies in Brazil and around the world.
He ended his career as an athlete at the age of 26, and from that moment on, he had to focus all his energy on his academy, Champions Factory, which today has a network of academies in Brazil and abroad.
Artur Mariano was a disciple of the founder of the Brazilian Muay Thai Confederation (CBMT), GM Luiz Alves, in memory.
As a competitive athlete, he finished his career undefeated in Muay Thai and MMA. He starred in the classic international vale tudo (Artur Mariano vs. Wanderlei Silva).
As a renowned Muay Thai coach, he has produced many world champions, became president of the CBMT, and was the first president of the Pan American Muay Thai Confederation (PA.MC). He held the WMF Brazil affiliation for over a decade, achieving the highest position possible in Muay Thai: global vice president of the World Muay Thai Federation (WMF) in Bangkok.
He has written four books: two about Muay Thai, one about MMA, and another about his motivational autobiography.
He was a fight commentator on TV for almost 15 years (Sportv/Combate).
